MANILA, Philippines - Action star Robin Padilla, who admits he has become used to being called the "Videoke King," said he already misses hosting "Wowowee."

"Hinahanap ko na ang studio. Hinahanap ko na ang mga rehearsal ng kanta," Padilla revealed in an interview over radio dzMM's morning program, "Magandang Morning with Julius and Tintin Babao" on Saturday.

He said he has not recovered from the sadness brought by his leaving the noontime variety show on Friday.

"Medyo ako ay nalulungkot talaga. Hanggang ngayon, hanggang kagabi sa pagpikit ng aking mga mata ay nalulungkot ako. Nasanay na akong tumira sa [ABS-CBN] eh," he said.

Padilla revealed during the radio interview that for the past 2 weeks, he has been sleeping in his dressing room at the ABS-CBN compound in Quezon City.

He said he asked the ABS-CBN management's permission to live temporarily at the compound because he did not want to be late for the noontime show.

The action star said the daily rehearsals usually end at 11 p.m. and he needs to wake up as early as 6 a.m. for follow up rehearsals.

He said ABS-CBN provided him a "special chair" that he can sleep on inside his dressing room.

"Meron po. Malambot naman na upuan. Espesyal naman na upuan," Padilla said.

Padilla bid "Wowowee" goodbye on Friday. Regular co-hosts Pokwang and Mariel Rodriguez were seen crying their hearts out during Binoe's farewell.

There were reports that ABS-CBN tried to convince him to stay on, but he refused because the action star did not want to get caught in the middle of the network's issues with the show's on-leave host, Willie Revillame.

"Sa buong dalawang linggo na iyon ang pinakamakulay na parte ng buhay ko. Gigisingin ako ng manager ko alas-sais [para sabihin na] dalawa ang kanta mo ngayon. Eight may rehearsal ka, piñano, acappela, gitara, rehearsal sa banda," Padilla said.

Not really leaving ABS-CBN?

Padilla, meanwhile, hinted during the radio interview that he may stay on with ABS-CBN for a show.

He said that before the ABS-CBN bosses asked him to temporarily host "Wowowee," there were already talks for him to do a show for the network.

"Iyon po ay mga naunang pag-uusap iyon, noong wala pa po ang [offer] sa "Wowowee." Marami nang pag-uusap sa ABS-CBN," he said.

The actor added that there were also hints that he may shoot a movie with Pokwang and Rodriguez, who was constantly teased with the guest host in the past 2 weeks.

Aside from the potential shows with ABS-CBN, Padilla said that he received different project offers while hosting "Wowowee."
