Moi is the First Philippine Celebrity Survivor?

The pilot episode of Survivor Philippines just started yesterday but the big speculation on who among from the castaways won the top prize.  It has been circulating in twitter that the winner is no other than Moi. Moi is the Yaya of actor Piolo Pascual in real life. Moi was first introduced in the movie Kimy Dora where she played the "Yaya" of Kimy and Dora.

Confidentiality Issues
On its first Season, confidentiality of the show leaked. It has been spread out that the Ultimate Survivor is JC Tiuseco. The network denied it but in the end, JC Tiuseco indeed is the winner. Now on the third installment, spreading of who among the winner is like a buzz. According to the tweets, the top 3 of the show are Moi, Karen and Aubrey. And Moi in fact the winner?

GMA 7 celebrates their 60th Year in Media. In Party Pilipinas they unveiled their newest Station ID for this momentous event.

Mo Twister and TV5 sued by GMA 7

Apat na milyong piso ang halaga ng breach of contract case na isinampa ng GMA Network laban kay Mohan Gumatay a.k.a. DJ Mo Twister at sa TV5.

Dalawang milyong piso ang hinihingi ng GMA Network mula kay DJ Mo at sa TV5 para sa damages, isang milyon para sa attorney's fees, at isang milyon bilang litigation fees.

Isinampa ng GMA-7 ang kaso sa Quezon City Prosecutors Office at diringgin ito sa sala ni Presiding Judge Santiago Arenas ng Branch 217 ng QC Regional Trial Court.

Nadamay sa kaso ang TV5 dahil kinuha nila ang serbisyo ni DJ Mo kahit hindi pa raw tapos ang kontrata nito sa Kapuso network. Co-host si DJ Mo sa showbiz-oriented talk show na Showbiz Central.

Nakasaad sa 16-page complaint ng GMA-7 na may exclusive talent contract sa kanila si DJ Mo at may bisa hanggang May 3, 2010 ang nabanggit na kasunduan. Pero may option to renew for a year ang GMA-7.

Humiling din ng Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) ang GMA-7 para ipahinto ng korte ang paglabas ni DJ Mo sa mga programa nito sa TV5—ang Juicy at Paparazzi, pati na sa ibang mga programa ng Kapatid network.

Napag-usapan sa recent episode ng Juicy ang demanda na nakaamba kay DJ Mo at ayon dito, ang mga abogado na ang mag-uusap tungkol sa problema nila ng GMA-7.

Kung noong 2004, nasa limelight ang GMA ngayon naman ay napaka-opposite naman ang nangyari. Unti-unti na ngang nilamon ng ABS ang kapuso network.

1) Ang patuloy na pagsisinungaling sa publiko.

2) Ang pandarayang ginagawa nila sa monthly reports na kadalasan ay incomplete data pa ang basehan.

3) Ang paggamit ng praise releases na Number 1 daw sila for a certain months pero pag binasa mo ang article, don mo makikita na one week lang pala ang basehan nila at pinipili pa yung weeks na mataas rating nila.

4) Ang sobrang pagyayabang at pagbubuhat ng sariling bangko na nakakairita na sa manonood dahil puro naman kasinungalingan.

5) Ang patuloy na PANLOLOKO sa publiko. (Hologram????)

ABS CBN laging mapagkumbaba yan, mataas o mababa man rating nila never silang nagbubuhat ng sariling bangko. pinapakita nila kung ano ang totoo sa publiko. wala silang takot isiwalat ang katotohanan maski talents pa nila ang involved.

ABS-CBN’s ‘Halalan 2010′ OutDone GMA’s ‘Eleksyon 2010′

ABS-CBN’s high-tech election coverage bested other networks last Monday while their anchors and reporters became multimedia journalists.

When Filipinos trooped to their precincts to vote on election day, most of them tuned in to ABS-CBN’s “Halalan 2010″ to get the latest news and went online to send their thoughts via the microblogging site Twitter, which made #Halalan the third most talked about or trending topic worldwide.

Aside from using new media like Twitter and Facebook in the country’s most comprehensive election coverage, ABS-CBN used the most advanced technology in news reporting like the augmented reality and giant touch-screen TV.

The new technology used added more excitement in viewing experience and helped viewers understand the news with state-of-the-art visual support. “TV Patrol World” topped the national ratings on election day with 31.5% vs GMA’s “24 Oras” (25%), according to TNS (Taylor Nelson Sofres)

The visual presence technology, wherein the anchor converses with a ‘virtual’ image of the reporter deployed to a different area, was one of the most commended features of the “Halalan 2010″ coverage.

The same technology was used by CNN during their election coverage in 2008. It created a stir when the international news organization referred to it as hologram, which was disputed by experts. This was the same case when GMA chose to use the term “hologram, instead of using the appropriate term virtual presence.

ABS-CBN also used a huge 103-inch touch-screen monitor to show comments of Pinoys generated through various social networking sites. But more than the high-tech facilities used, ABS-CBN was able to give the most comprehensive and up-to-date stories.

“It was not just about the technology but the story. We made sure the substance was not lost,” said ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs Head Maria Ressa.

ABS-CBN is the most trusted TV network when it comes to election news coverage, according to Pulse Asia that did a survey on 21-25 February.

The results show that 63% of Filipinos believe that ABS-CBN is the most credible TV network in covering the campaign as compared to GMA 7, which only got 55% credibility rating.

ABS-CBN anchors and reporters also played a very crucial role on the success of election coverage as they become multimedia journalists reporting not just on TV but also online via abs-cbnNEWS.com and actively posting updates on their respective Facebook and Twitter accounts. In fact, ABS-CBN anchors like Julius Babao, Karen Davila, and Ces Drilon already have thousands of followers on Twitter.

ABS-CBN also conducted exit polls in partnership with Pulse Asia and it was also the only network that conducted a parallel count on randomly selected precincts all over the Philippines in partnership with STI.

Ryza Cenon will be part of "Langit sa Piling Mo"

Sasabak na si Ryza Cenon sa mas mature at daring role sa teleseryeng Langit Sa Piling Mo ng GMA7.

Magkakaroon siya ng kissing at bed scenes kay Tonton Gutierrez sa role niya bilang sexy dancer. Kaya naman pati pole dancing ay pinag-aaralan na rin ni Ryza.

Kasama rin sa teleserye si Mark Herras kaya napapadalas ang pagkikita nila ng ex-BF.

Hindi naman daw sila nag-iiwasan dahil magkaibigan pa rin naman sila ngayon.

Priority muna ni Ryza ang kanyang career at saka na raw ang pag-ibig.

Naikuwento rin ni Ryza na before umalis ng bansa ang bestfriend niyang si LJ Reyes, nagkita-kita at nag-bonding sila with Chynna Ortaleza.

Nangako raw si LJ na two to three months pag-katapos nitong manganak, babalik agad siya ng ’Pinas para dito pabinyagan ang kanyang baby.

Hindi pa raw tapos ang pinirmahang kontrata ni LJ sa GMA7 kaya obligado siyang bumalik ng bansa.

Wala pa rin balak magkapakasal nina LJ at ama ng baby niya na si Paolo Avelino.

Titiyakin daw muna nila na magiging maganda ang buhay at kinabukasan ng kanilang magiging baby bago sila magdedesisyon humarap sa altar.

Encantadia remake may not push through

A remake of the fantasy series Encantadia was pitched by GMA-7 sometime ago. Encantadia, which starred Sunshine Dizon, Iza Calzado, Karylle, and Diana Zubiri, received moderate to huge success when it was shown years ago.

In a TV plug sometime ago, GMA-7 brought the idea of resurrecting the now-defunct fantasy series. Many thought that a remake would soon be airing on GMA-7.

However, network insiders informed Pinoy Gossip Boy that the remake of Encantadia might not push through. First, Karylle have transferred to ABS-CBN. Also, there are rumors that Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado has not fully reconciled with each other.

Encantadia made way for the spin-off series, Etheria.
